Detailed Design
Upon approval of the landscape masterplan by the client and the local authority, a detailed design can commence. This will cover both the hard and soft landscape works of the landscape masterplan. This aspect of a commission not only discharges any planning conditions, but will also form part of any tender.
This aspect of the commission will involve not only detailing the plants for the site but also features, seating areas, sculptures, arbours, sensory gardens, lighting, irrigation, pathways and patios.
We also prepare topsoil depth drawings and specifications for either the groundworkers or appointed landscape contractor to undertake. This is one of the key aspects of any detailed design to ensure success long term
With over 20 years’ experience in the horticultural industry, our knowledge of landscape suppliers and horticultural nurseries that can make a garden stand out for the benefit of all residents is carefully considered at this stage.
