The following projects represent some of our current instructed commissions
Swadlincote
A development in East Derbyshire that covers a wide and diverse range on needs for the elderly. Covering an area of over 3 acres, this site is the first to embrace gardening as a high level experience, not merely an add on. The commission covers both hard and soft landscape, with key emphasis on integrating car park areas into the garden to provide an overall garden experience for all the residents.
Leicester
A new nursing home and assisted living development on the edge of Leicester. Set on a site over 1.5 acres with mature trees, the gardens are designed for gardening activities and secure gardens are provided for Alzheimer sufferers.
Hindhead
Set within a mature landscape of trees and gardens this new nursing home is set to open in early 2010. The brief required was to provide a gardening experience as well as using the existing grounds, to the benefit of the elderly.
Marlow
A new assisted living development close to the River Thames, this contemporary designed building allows the garden to be a modern courtyard garden with covered seating areas and a mixture of hard and soft landscape in bold and striking forms
Brighton
A recently instructed commission, following a lengthy planning process. Again, the exiting trees and landscape are used to maximum effect and will be a key feature upon arriving in Brighton
Horsham
Set in over 2 acres of mature landscape, this assisted living nursing home for over 90 residents will form a key care centre for the residents of Horsham
Brentwood
A development on a site sloping over 10m, set within established gardens, this nursing home/assisted living development will cater for over 80 residents as well as providing short term care.
Bristol Leigh Woods
This former botanic gardens established by the Wills tobacco family and then formerly Bristol University has, after 4 years, recently obtained planning permission for the development of luxury houses in the former walled, vegetable garden as well as full conversion of existing properties on the 5-acre site.
NHS
Currently undertaking a number of sensory/secure gardens for the young as well as the elderly, throughout the UK. Commissions vary in size from 25m2 up to as large as 350m2 on a range of budgets.
