Set on the leafy outskirts of Cardiff, this retirement/nursing home development has made full use of the varying contours of the site, to form a multi levelled garden. A number of mature trees on site had to be taken into consideration during the design process. These trees help to provide a sense of maturity to the gardens from the outset and have become the focal point for the different areas within the grounds.

A circular pergola covered with Wisteria forms the centre of the gardens as a meeting point for the residents, as well as the location for the garden club activities. This seating area has a number of paths leading from it to different aspects of the garden.
