Commercial Landscape - Swaylands, Tunbridge Wells
This 65 acre historic park is currently being fully restored, with part of the site being developed into luxury flats and the main house fully converted into apartments. This unique site has the largest manmade rockery in the UK and is the second largest in the world. Built over 25 years, spreading over 9 acres and constructed by hand during the years 1873 to 1898, this rockery is going through a full transformation and restoration programme.The remainder of the park is being restored and updated to meet the needs of the current owners. Completion is due 2009 and will be open to the public four times a year.
