As well as undertaking specialist work in the retirement and health care sector, Tim Lynch Associates also undertakes specialist commercial projects, including housing developments, hospital design, ecological homes and work places for people re-entering mainstream society and specialist school projects.
Recently, for planning purposes, this Practice totally redesigned the largest existing rockery in Europe together with the associated historic parkland, for a site near Tunbridge Wells. This commission entailed a full restoration programme of the then derelict rockery, as well as bringing the estate back to its former standing as one of the Top 20 gardens in the UK.
It was necessary to re-design aspects of the site which could no longer be fully restored and needed to be upgraded to modern standards.
